Objective
We have many projects and develop many features, but we don’t know about our customers. Who are they, and what do they need? So I take ownership to lead the user persona survey and product metrics. The result that I want to know is who are our customers. and what they think about our product.
01 - What did we want to know?
We started a brainstorming session to create a survey question. So the first step is that we have to set an objective that we need to know. And after that, we draft a question based on the objective. An example is “If we want to know the demographic of our customer” So what could the question be?

02 - Grouping the question
Each member creates an objective and question complete. The next step is grouping similar questions. and after grouping we’ll see the most objective that we really want to know. And I lead a session to discuss each question and remove some questions that were not important so that the survey is not too long.

03 - Public the survey
We have published the survey to end-users in social media channels such as Facebook, Telegram, and email and also surveyed internal employees too. We have made two surveys to collect the first half of 2022 and the second half. To compare a user persona and track a metric, we will improve the experience by applying feedback from the first half to improve the user experience second half.
04 - Pivot data and make a conclusion
After a period of survey end. I clean up the survey responses to create a pivot data and break down the desired result. I divided a user persona by the channel we published to see if they differed. The user persona result surprised me because each channel had a different user persona.

05 - Present to a product team
I conclude the survey and present to result to the product team. with summary data, user persona, and user feedback. For the next phase of product improvement.
