Overview
Bitkub NFT is a platform for purchasing and selling NFT. Allow the business to create and sell NFTs to customers. Use Gashapon features to purchase a random NFT. After receiving an NFT, the user can use it to redeem a reward on the platform.
Challenge
- The most difficult aspect is that we employ a blockchain because it has so many limits for building a product, which will impact user experience.
- Back around 2-3 years ago, few people in Thailand were aware of NFT. And there aren’t many NFT platforms available yet. As a result, it is difficult to conduct research and design a product.
MVP
The first version of the product is made for proof of concept and testing the product with 250+ internal employees. For example, we have tested an NFT airdrop and NFT marketplace to buy and sell NFT.

Gathering the feedback
We launched, tested, get user feedback, and improve for a half year. After we have done an internal test we started to develop a new version for customers and this product become one of the core products of Bitkub.

Information Architect
Begin by refreshing the design to meet the needs of the business. I begin by creating a sitemap and an information architect to ensure that the overall product scope and structure are met.

Let’s redesign
I only have one month to redesign the product, and we have to change the business logic as well as the user interface. Then I have to skip the wireframes process and go straight to the UI instead. And design products with previous feedback in mind. I roughly design an interface for the entire platform. To develop an MVP version and double-check it against business requirements.

Present the draft
I presented a design to the product team. Begin with a problem and feedback from an earlier version that I have improved the user experience. And design an additional business requirement.
Refine the UI
I refined the UI after reviewing the first draft and concept for a more delightful and clear design. Based on feedback, I improved some parts, created a design system and components to finish, and delivered the design.

What did I learn
I have worked on this project for 3 years, and I have a deep understanding of the product from beginning to end. I have learned the product development process, how businesses work, how to identify and mitigate risks, and the NFT market and user behavior in this field.
I have also gained experience in designing with blockchain technology. Initially, we faced some challenges and limitations, but after I gained a better understanding of blockchain, I was able to find new ways to improve the user experience.
I have used lean UX throughout the design process, as it was well-suited to our requirements and timeline. This has given me a great deal of experience in rapid wireframing and finding solutions to requirements.
